If you replaced a wheel, tyre, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To reset the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 Toyota Avensis, follow these steps:
- Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch to the LOCK position.
- Adjust the tyre inflation pressure recommended on the tyre placard located on the door panel.
- Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position
- Press the DISP button briefly until you see the SETTINGS menu
- Press and hold the DISP button to enter the adjustment mode.
- Press the DISP button briefly until you find TYRE PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM
- Next, press and hold the DISP button to enter

- Select SET TYRE PRESSURE
- Select SET to confirm
- Wait for a few minutes until the tyre pressure warning light blinks 3 times.
- Finally, turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.
