2003-2009 Mazda B2300 Fuel Inertia Switch Reset Location – The Mazda B-Series (Mazda B-Series) is a compact SUV introduced in 1961 by Mazda Motor Corporation. From the first Serie B, Mazda has used the engine displacement to determine the name. Fuel pump shut-off (inertia) switch is a device that stops the fuel pump of the fuel delivery to the engine. If your engine cranks but does not start, this switch may have been activated. Here’s how to find and reset the switch:
- On the 2003-2009 Mazda B2300 Truck, the fuel pump shut-off switch is located in the front passenger footwell area in the right upper corner. If you do not find it, try searching on the right side of the passenger footwell, behind the fuse panel door. You will need to remove the lower scuff plate to access the switch.
- Make sure to turn off your vehicle
- Pushing in the Fuel pump shut-off (inertia) switch
- Turn the ignition to the on position and wait a few seconds and return the key to off position.

I have a 2009 mazda6 v6 3.7 liter 24 valve. I can not locate the fuel inertia switch. My car have been parked for 3 months. I even changed out just about the whole fuel system. Please help me find the switch. So I can ride again
I want to shut off my fuel pump because i think someone stole my keys . so i don’t want my truck stolen. Can i do that with the reaset switch ? It’s a 2004 ford ranger extra cab
