2009 Dodge Journey Timing Marks Diagram (3.5 L EGF V6 Engine) – The Dodge Journey is a crossover SUV produced by American automaker Dodge since 2008. The car was born as heir to the Chrysler Pacifica. It is initially being marketed in the United States and Europe with the Dodge brand, then leaving the old continent towards the end of 2010, which was replaced by the Fiat Freemont.
The car is built on the same platform of the Dodge Avenger, Chrysler Sebring, and Mitsubishi Lancer, and it also shares part of the engines, or the GEMA to be 2.4, 2.7 and 3.5 liters (only for the US market). Until 2010, the V6 offered in North America was 3.5-liter mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, which produces 235 hp (175 kW) and 315 Nm of torque.

- Align Camshafts With Timing Marks
- Install Tensioner Loose
- Crankshaft At TDC
Note: If camshafts have moved from the timing marks, always rotate camshaft towards the direction nearest to the timing marks (DO NOT TURN CAMSHAFTS A FULL REVOLUTION OR DAMAGE to valves and/or pistons could result). For more detail please watch the following video:
