2012-2020 GMC Acadia TPMS Light Tire Pressure System Warning Reset – The GMC Acadia is a passenger car model of the US General Motors Division ‘GMC. It is since 2006 in Delta Township (Eaton County) built a crossover SUV. The Acadia is based on the GM Lambda platform that also uses the Chevrolet Traverse, the Buick Enclave and Saturn Outlook. The 5.18-meter-long seven or eight-seater replaced with the start of production in December 2006 SUV Envoy XL / XUV and the Van Safari. Like all other GMC models also this not be exported to Europe.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your GMC Acadia you must have a TPMS relearn tool and follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  3. Press and hold unlock and lock buttons on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter until horn sounds

  4. If your vehicle does not have the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter

    Press the  button to access the cluster app.
    Scroll up and select “Tire Pressure Menu”
    Press and hold the  button

  5. Starting from the driver’s side front tire, place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor.

  6. Repeat the procedure on the right-front tire, the right rear tire, and the last one left rear tire.

  7. A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.

  8. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

  9. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
