How To Reset Toyota Tacoma TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2012-2020) – Tacoma is a pickup truck manufactured and sold by Toyota in North America. It was world premiered at the North American Detroit Motor Show in September 2015. The aggressive appearance incorporating the 4 runner SUV (Hilux Surf) and Tundra’s design attracted attention and boosted sales significantly by helping the boom.

In addition to the conventional 2TR – FE type (2.7 liters straight 4), the newly developed 3.5 – liter V – 6, which adopted D – 4S which uses direct in-cylinder injection and port injection, has been the lineup. These two engines can be selected with either 2WD / 4WD or MT / AT, and there are 29 variations including TRD specifications and equipment differences. Ultra-high strength steel is adopted as the body to raise the rigidity, the quietness has been greatly improved.

How To Reset Toyota Tacoma TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2012-2020):

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor (TPMS) light on your Toyota Tacoma:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

  4. Locate and press the tire pressure warning reset button until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times.

  5. Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position

  6. Finally, turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.
