It is based on the same base plate as the European Passat produced until 2014.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your Volkswagen:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop

    Turn the engine switch off

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard

  3. Turn the ignition to the ON position

    Don’t start the engine

  4. Press the MENU button

    The button is located on the audio display

  5. Select VEHICLE menu

    Tap the display to select the menu

  6. Tap SETTINGS or SETUP on the touchscreen to enter the Vehicle Settings menu

  7. Select TIRES

    Tap the touchscreen to select

  8. Select SET

  9. When a confirmation message appears on the display, select CONFIRM to store the tire pressure

    Done!

  1. hello i have it Passat b8 2019 tdi 2.0 150hp and i cant turn off the tire indicator.i go to the car menu then i go to car but does not have the indication set and this button is not inside the car locker either. please help me
