Reset Guide: Vauxhall Mokka Oil Service Light (2013-2021) – The Mokka is a crossover SUV type car produced in 2012 by the German car manufacturer Opel. In 2012 the Mokka A, based on the Gamma II platform created by the GM Korea subsidiary, made its debut. The car shares the technical basis with the first generation of the Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax.

Reset Guide: Vauxhall Mokka Oil Service Light (2013-2021)
When the system has calculated that oil life has exceeded the specified service interval, a warning message will appear in the display. You need perform an oil change reset the system. Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the oil life light on Vauxhall Mokka:
1st Generation (2013-2019)
Time needed: 7 minutes
In the first generation of Vauxhall Mokka (2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019), you can reset the oil life using the turn signal lever. Follow these step:
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
If your car equipped with ignition button, press and hold the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds without touch the brake pedal
- Press the MENU button briefly until VEHICLE tab menu appears on the screen
The button is located on the turn signal lever
- Scroll down and find OIL LIFE menu
Use the band to scroll through the menu
- Press and hold the SET/CLR button until Oil Life 100% appears on the screen
The sound of chimes will be heard
- Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

2nd Generation (2020-2021)
Just like the previous generation, you can reset Oil Life using the turn signal lever in this second generation (2020 2021), but in a different way. Here’s how to do it:
- Place the ignition to the off position
- Press and hold the SET/CLR button on the end of turn signal lever
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
- Keep press the SET/CLR button until it counts to 0 and Reinitialisation Done message appears on the screen
- Finally, verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine
