How To Reset Yamaha YZF-R6 Shift Light Indicator – The Yamaha YZF-R6 is a high-performance, 599 cm³ medium-sized motorbike produced by the Japanese Yamaha Motorcycle Motorcycle since 1999. How To Reset Yamaha YZF-R6 Shift Light Indicator

Time Needed : 7 minutes

If you want to set the cluster brightness, shift light option, shift light activation point, redline indicator, shift light brightness on your Yamaha YZF-R6, follow these instructions:

Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
Hold in the Select Button
Turn the ignition on

Wait for a second until the first option (Cluster brightness option) appears and then release Select Button
Use the RESET button to set the brightness level
Press the SELECT button to confirm the setting

Now you will be taken to “the shift light activity function” settings
Press the RESET Button to set and then press the SELECT button to confirm
Next, you will be taken to the rpm setting

You can set the RPMs from 10000 to 18000 by using the RESET Button to set and then press the SELECT button to confirm it
The next one is the “Redline Indicator option”
I recommend not to change this setting, so skip it by pressing the SELECT button

The last option is the “Shift light brightness”
Press the RESET Button to set and then press the SELECT button to confirm
