How To Reset Volvo S60 TPMS Low Tire Pressure System (2011-2018):

Time needed: 7 minutes.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To recalibrate the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your Volvo S60, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

  4. Press the MY CAR button in the center console control panel

  5. Select Settings

  6. Select Car Settings

  7. Select Tire Pressure and then press the OK button

  8. Select Calibrate Tire Pressure 

  9. Wait for a few minutes until initialization is completed.

  10. Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 1 minute of cumulative driving at least 25 km/h (40 mph), and then verify that it turns off.

  1. this only works for cars outside the USA – the US market has no “Car Settings”, or Tyre Pressure Menu entry.
