Mazda RX8 Engine Oil Pump Parts Diagram (13B-MSP Renesis) – In 2003, Mazda introduced the RX-8 were armed with a 13B-MSP Renesis engine. MSP is an acronym for Multi Side Port, while ‘Renesis’ is a synonym of Rotary Engine Genesis. The only feature of the 13B-MSP Renesis is inherited from the previous Rotary is the layout of the two rotors 654 cc. The increased leading design is a side exhaust port. Unlike the previous rotary engine, which employs the intake port and exhaust port peripheral side, 13B – MSP Renesis has intake and exhaust ports in the side of the house.

In this way, the exhaust gas is not taken to the next intake cycle, promotes the burning of more stable and higher-quality fuel economy. 13B-MSP Renesis uses 3 intake ports per rotor (primary, secondary and ancillary) and the intake ports are 30% larger than the previous version. Intake ports open more quickly and stay open longer. This engine also has two exhaust ports per rotor, unlike its predecessors.
