How To Reset Nissan Quest Airbag Warning Light (2004-2016) – Japanese automotive manufacturers, Nissan has officially announced their latest product of the Quest in 2014. Quest 2014 comes with using VQ DOHC six-cylinder engine with a capacity of 3.5 liters. The machine is able to issue a power of 260 horsepower and peak torque reaches 240 lb-ft combined with the Xtronik CVT transmission system, to provide driving comfort for the driver.

How To Reset Nissan Quest Airbag Warning Light (2004-2016):
Time needed: 7 minutes
To reset the Airbag Light on 2003 2004 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 Nissan Quest, conform to the following instructions:
- Turn the ignition key to position “ON” without starting the engine, If your vehicle has Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.
- Wait for more than 3 seconds
- Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.
- Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is a diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.
- Now turn the key off again, wait for more than 3 seconds like in step 3 again, and turn back on.
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset

ive got a 2007 Nissan quest and this fix worked but doesn’t stick.. flashing returned once i took the car on the road for a short ride.. any suggestions besides doing this each time i try and start the car or drop a grand at the dealer for a service they could not even insure would fix the issue
I have tried your troubleshoot to turn off the airbag warning light. No luck.
I have taken the car, Rogue 2011, to the dealership…..they tell me the “cushion sensor” has gone bad….to repair….about $2,500. Do you have any other advise?
