2019-2021 GMC Sierra TPMS Light Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Reset – If the Chevy Silverado comes with a more masculine design and is far from luxurious, this fifth-generation GMC Sierra comes with a more elegant and luxurious appearance. Chrome accents much dominate the exterior of the Sierra, especially on the front.
Compared to Silverado, this new Sierra has smaller headlights with a design that forms the letter C. LED Daytime Running Lights also come in a form that matches the leading lights. GMC designers use LED fog lamps that are placed vertically. For SLT and Denali variants, the fog lamps come with chrome accents.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your GMC Sierra you must have a TPMS relearn tool and follow these steps:
Turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.
If your car equipped with ignition button, press and hold the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds without touch the brake pedal
If your vehicle equipped with a base-level display, go to VEHICLE tab menu
Use the ▲▼ navigation button to cycle the menu
The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode
Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor.
A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.
Press the Start/Stop button once
Done!
These instructions are based on the GMC Sierra owner’s manual. This procedure should apply to the fifth generation of the GMC Sierra (2019 2020 2021 model years). Hopefully, the article 2019-2020 GMC Sierra TPMS Light Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Reset can solve your problem. Good Luck!

My 2019 GMC 1500 Denail will not allow to "View the application" unless the vehicle is started. If I follow the procedure described above, I can not call up the Tire Pressure view or enter the TPMS relearn or reset. Once I start the truck, I can scroll from the "Home" screen to the tire pressure view. Then hold the scroll button until the TPMS Learn is active and the horn blows. I Hold the TPMS tool at the sidewall next to the valve stem on each tire, LF, RF, RR, LR, until the horn blows once at each wheel. After the horn blows once at the LR, is blows 2 additional times and the procedure is complete. The owners manual and all videos and writings I have seen say to NOT start the vehicle. This is incorrect!
Gene, I have a 2021 GMC 3500 and had to follow your exact directions. Worked perfectly. Thanks
You have to hold the start button for 5 seconds without touching the brake. This will allow you to activate the Learn function
I have a issue with the tpms on my 2021 sierra denali ultimate. I took off my summer wheels which worked fine with the tpms. I programmed the winter wheels which have Autel mx series dual freq tpms with a copy by OBD with my tool. The truck will not recognize them at all. My tool will scan them and tell me everything but I cannot get the truck to honk during the relearn process. The tool will trigger them but no response from vehicle. Both sets of TPMS are 433mhz. The only thing I've changed is added a Pulsar Lt module. Does anyone have any ideas?
