2013-2019 Volvo V40 Maintenance Service Light Reset Guide – The Volvo V40 is a premium sedan car produced by the Swedish car manufacturer Volvo. Volvo marketed this car from 2012 to 2019. It is available only with five doors.

When the Maintenance Overdue message appears in the display, it’s time for regular service at the workshop. The system must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Here is how to reset the maintenance light on 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 Volvo V40:

  1. Turn off the ignition and close all doors

    Make sure your vehicle is stopped in a safe place

  2. Place the ignition to the position I

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, keep the remote key into the ignition slot, press the START/STOP ENGINE button once

  3. Trip mode needs to be on TRIP 2 or T2

    Use the thumbwheel on the turn signal lever to select T2
    maintenance service light reset

  4. Hold down the OK button on the end of the lever and then place the ignition to the position II

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, keep press the OK button while holding the START/STOP ENGINE button

  5. Keep holding the OK button until the ⓘ indicator blinks

    Release the OK button when the warning light flashes 3 times and you hear a chime

  6. Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

    Done!
