Volvo C70: How To Reset Maintenance Service Light (2007-2013) – The Volvo C70 is a passenger car model produced by the Swedish car manufacturer Volvo from 1997 to 2013. In 1996 at the Paris Motor Show, the first series of the car was initially only available in a coupé version, while the convertible version was introduced the following year.
The second version of the Volvo C70, made official at the 2005 Paris Motor Show, was launched on April 13, 2006. Designed by John Kinsey, it was built for Volvo by Pininfarina at its Swedish plant in Uddevalla.

When the Maintenance Overdue message appears in the display, it’s time for regular service at the workshop. The system must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Here is how to reset the maintenance light on 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 Volvo C70:
- Turn off the ignition and open the driver’s door
Make sure your vehicle is stopped in a safe place
- Place the ignition to the position I
If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, keep the remote key into the ignition slot, press the START/STOP ENGINE once
- Trip mode needs to be on TRIP 1 or T1
Press the TRIP button on cluster to select the trip mode
- Hold down the TRIP button and then place the ignition to the position II
If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, keep press the TRIP button while holding the START/STOP ENGINE for 2 seconds
- Keep hold the TRIP button until the ⓘ indicator blinks
Release the Trip button when the ⓘ indicator flash 3 times
- Verify the indicator has been reset by shut off the car and then starting the engine
