The Mitsubishi ASX also called the Mitsubishi RVR, is a compact SUV from Mitsubishi Motors. Today we got a question about how to reset routine maintenance light on Mitsubishi ASX.
So the case is because there is a spanner light on the dashboard, which means to remind you to change the engine oil. This spanner symbol will appear when the specified time or distance has been reached. This system is used as a service reminder to replace paper or stickers attached to cars.
How To Reset Routine Maintenance Light On Mitsubishi ASX
Time needed: 3 minutes
All right i’ve got a 2012 Mitsubishi ASX and I’ve just done the service on it. Now I’m gonna go ahead and reset the service inspection light. So let’s do it.
- Turn the ignition off
Okay the first thing we need to do is make sure the car is absolutely turned off
- Display the 🔧 screen
Press the INFO button until we come to the spanner sign with month or mileage screen
- Hold down the INFO button
The next thing we need to do is press and hold the INFO button until the spanner flashing
- Release and then press the INFO button again
Once it starts flashing release the button and then press the button again then you’ll see it says Clear
- The reset done so now you can start the car to verify the maintenance light has been reset
Done!
Note! This procedure applies to the first generation the of the Mitsubishi ASX (2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 model years).
So that’s it, three minutes job to reset it. Well, the thing is, don’t go resetting it for the sake of it, okay. Make sure you do an oil change and make sure because this is a hybrid and it needs an oil change, change spark plugs and change the air filter if you can. Then yeah, that way the car will love you as well, it’ll give you many more miles. Good luck!
I can’t change service light as per your instructions, spanner sign says off next to it, can you help. Thank you. Stephen.
