When the system has calculated that oil life has exceeded the specified service interval, a warning message will appear in the display. You need perform an oil change reset the system. Here’s how to reset the oil life light on 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 Opel Karl:

  1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine

    If your car equipped with ignition button, press and hold the Start/Stop button for 5 seconds without touch the brake pedal

  2. Press the MENU button briefly until VEHICLE INFORMATION MENU appears on the screen

  3. Scroll down and find OIL LIFE menu

    Use the band to scroll through the menu

  4. Press and hold the SET/CLR button until Oil Life 100% appears on the screen

    The sound of chimes will be heard

  5. Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

    Done!
