Last Updated on June 22, 2021 by Christ
First introduced at the North American market in 2018, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross reintroduced a once-legendary name. In this post, I want to show you how to reset the maintenance light on the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross after an oil change.
The Routine Maintenance Required light is a reminder to service your vehicle. You don’t need to worry and panic if this happens because you only need to do maintenance or change the engine oil, and then you need to reset the system interval. So stay tuned and read this post till the end.
Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Oil Maintenance Light Reset Guide
Time needed: 3 minutes
Okay, I’m here with my 2018 Eclipse cross with routine maintenance required light. I need to reset this, and I’ll show you how to do it. Basically, you’ll be using the ❏ Menu button and the up/down controls, which can be found on the left-hand side of the steering wheel just below the tachometer. So let’s do it.
- Switch off the car
Your car needs to be off to do this operation
- Find the 🔧 spanner symbol
Use the up/down arrow buttons to cycle through the menu until you see spanner symbol and it’s showing us how much time and how many miles until our next service
- Press and hold the ❏ button
And then you’ll hold the ❏ button down till the spanner flashing
- Release and press the ❏ button again
Finally, push the ❏ button again and you’ve cleared
Note! This procedure applies to the first generation of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 model years).
