2005-2012 Jeep Liberty TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Indicator Reset – Jeep Cherokee is the name of several four-wheel-drive SUVs that were originally manufactured by AMC and are today produced by Chrysler. From the model XJ, he was also offered in Europe. Since the KJ-generation model is offered in the domestic market under the name Jeep Liberty. Since 2001, the model is offered in the domestic market in the US under the name Jeep Liberty, only in Europe and in Northern Africa, it is marketed under the name Jeep Cherokee.

The petrol engines are inline four-cylinder 2.4-liter and 150 hp and a 3.7-liter V6 and 210 hp. The Diesel is an inline four-cylinder 2.5-liter and 143 hp with fixed geometry turbocharger, common-rail direct injection, and intercooler. In 2004 the 2.8-liter and 150 hp for versions with automatic transmission joined. In 2005 the model received a “facelift” (updating) and 2.8 CRD happened to have 163 hp thanks to a variable geometry turbo and other settings in the electronic management.

Time needed: 5 minutes

If you receive a low-tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light while driving and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your Jeep Liberty, follow these instructions:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop

    The shift lever is in N (for manual transmission) or the shift lever is in P (for Automatic transmission/CVT models)

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard

    The tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 20 minutes of cumulative driving at least 25 km/h (16 mph), and then verify that it turns off.

    Done!

Note: When filling warm tires, the tire pressure may need to be increased up to an additional 4 psi (30 kPa).
