I tried to reset my life gate and for starters it only beeps twice and my problems still exist s. My gate opens all by itself when I am in park or when I first start the car. If I lock it immediacy it doesn’t happened. I turned the power off so it won’t open by itself but I still hear it trying. I’m baffled
I have a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder with a liftgate that just stop working. I checked the fuse 15 amp and all good. The rear window opens ok, but the lift gate actuator isn't even making any noise so I don't think anything is jammed up.
My 6 very basic questions are as follows:
1> why did the lift gate actuator just stop working out of the blew? any ideas are helpful.
2> Is there a rely that needs to be checked? I kind of doubt it though.
3> Is there a liftgate module that may need replacing? Where is it located?
4> Can I check for voltage at the lift gate actuator to see if the actuator is bad?
5> Can I just touch the 2 wires on the liftgate switch to test if the switch is bad?
6> HOW CAN I OPEN THE LIFT GATE MANUALLY?? Help! I cannot see anything on a 2010 pathfinder that shows a by-pass manual liftgate latch axillary system.
