How To Reset Ford Kuga TPMS Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2020) – The third generation of Kuga was unveiled in April 2019 at the Ford Go Further in Amsterdam. The car is based on the Ford Focus C2 platform, from which the internal and external design resumes. Thanks to this platform, the rigidity has increased by 10% while the weight has decreased by 90 kg compared to the previous model.

In addition to the petrol and diesel engines, the new Kuga is available in three hybrid versions. The car is assembled in the Valencia factory in Spain, while the version marketed in the United States, called Ford Escape, is constructed in the Louisville plant in Kentucky.

How To Reset Ford Kuga TPMS Tyre Pressure Sensor Light (2020)

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to relearn or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your Ford Kuga:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop

    Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START STOP button without pressing the brake pedal

  4. Press the MENU button to enter the main menu

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  5. Scroll to SETTING menu

    Press the OK button to enter the menu

  6. Scroll to TIRE MONITOR

    Press the OK button to enter the menu

  7. When a confirmation message appears on display, press and holds the OK button

    Done!

This tutorial only applies to vehicles equipped with 6 & 12 Inch Information Display!
