2013-2019 Ford Flex TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Reset

2013-2019 Ford Flex TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Reset – Ford has launched the facelift version of the Ford Flex 2013 in Los Angeles Motor Show. The new Ford Flex comes with seven seats and equipped with several changes in appearance. Such changes include front and rear fascia rounded out so not too square shape design. Then the blue oval badge that is located in the middle grille was gone, having been replaced with Flex badges along the end of the hood.

The new features of Flex 2013 adopting the latest generation of MyFord touch system and seat belts are available up to the rear passenger seat. As well as the new system inflates found on the rear seat belts that inflate 40 milliseconds in a collision. Flex also comes in a choice of the first machine that comes with a capacity of 3.5 liters Ti-VCT V6 with 285 hp (213 kW / 289 PS) and 255 lb-ft (345 Nm) of torque.

2013-2019 Ford Flex TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Reset:

If you receive a low-tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light while driving and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 Ford Flex, follow these instructions:

  • Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
  • Turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 2 minutes of cumulative driving at 20 mph (32 km/h).

Time needed: 17 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. For that you need to purchase the correct TPMS reset tool and follow these instructions:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Press and release the brake pedal.

  3. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON position three (3) times ending in the on position without starting the engine.

    If your car has a Smart key button, press once to turn on, then press again to put the vehicle into ACC mode, then press again to turn the vehicle off. Repeat 2 more times, ending in ACC mode.

  4. Press the brake pedal again for 2 seconds, then release.

  5. Turn the ignition to OFF position (DO NOT remove the key)

  6. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON position three (3) times ending in the on position without starting the engine.

  7. If the reset mode has been entered successfully, the horn will sound once.

  8. Starting from the driver’s side front tire, place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor.

  9. Repeat the procedure on the right-front tire, the right rear tire, and the last one left rear tire.

  10. A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.

  11. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the left rear tire, training is completed and a message is shown in the information display. Turn ignition to OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.
