If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your 2019 2020 Volkswagen T-Cross:
- Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
Turn the engine switch off
- Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard
The tire placard located on the driver’s door panel
- Turn the ignition to the ON position
Don’t start the engine
- Press the CAR button
The button is located on the audio display
- Tap SETTINGS or SETUP on the touchscreen to enter the Vehicle Settings menu
The menu is in the lower right corner
- Select TYRES
Tap the touchscreen to select
- Select SET
Tap the touchscreen to select
- When a confirmation message appears on the display, select CONFIRM to store the tire pressure
