2007-2016 Ford Focus Tire Pressure (TPMS) Sensor Light Reset – At the Essen Motor Show 2015 Event in Germany, Ford introduced the Focus Sport premiered. Based on the Focus ST variant, the sporty modif offered in two body color of a race red or black panther. Both colors are given a combination of black or red on the roof, diffuser, grille bar, and a rearview mirror cover. In order to further reinforce the presence of the nuances of sport, Ford complete with a set of black wheels measuring 18 inches.

If you receive a low-tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light while driving and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 Ford Focus, follow these instructions:

  • Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
  • Turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 2 minutes of cumulative driving at 20 mph (32 km/h).

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor need to be reset. For that you need to purchase the correct TPMS reset tool and follow these instructions:

  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.
  • Press and release the brake pedal.
  • Turn the ignition from OFF to ON position three (3) times ending in the on position without starting the engine.
    • If your car has Smart key button, press once to turn on, then press again to put vehicle into ACC mode, then press again to turn vehicle off. Repeat 2 more times, ending in ACC mode.
  • Press the brake pedal again for 2 seconds, then release.
  • Turn the ignition to OFF position (DO NOT remove the key)
  • Turn the ignition from OFF to ON position three (3) times ending in the on position without starting the engine.
  • If the reset mode has been entered successfully, the horn will sound once.
  • Starting from the driver’s side front tire, place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor.
  • Repeat the procedure on the right-front tire, the right rear tire, and the last one left rear tire.
  • A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.
  • After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the left rear tire, training is completed and and a message is shown in the information display.Turn ignition to OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on tire placard.

    OK I have a 2016 focus se the tire pressure is bout 32 in each tire recomened is 36 OK that’s bout 4 pounds low and no tpms light comes on is it a certain low pressure before the tpms shows

    Is there a way to completely turn off the TPMS, so that the dash warning light/display no longer appear when running other sets of tires without sentors.
