2004-2008 Acura TSX Timing Marks Diagram (2.4L K24A2 Engine) – The Acura TSX is a D-segment car produced by Japanese automaker Acura since April 2003 for the North American market. The TSX is basically a Honda Accord with the “Type-S” sold in Europe, Japan, and Australia since 2003 package. Both models were at launch aesthetic and mechanical differences, which were eliminated gradually, just change the label of the brand, and different suspension settings.

The TSX incorporates the 2.4-liter engine that equips the seventh-generation Honda Accord, initially with 200 hp and 205 hp maximum power from the year 2006. Regarding transmission, six-speed manual or an automatic five-speed “SportShift” you can be chosen. The IIHS gives the Acura TSX 2005-2007 rating of good (good) in frontal crash tests, and average (mean) in side-impact tests. The American agency NHTSA awarded the 2006 Acura TSX in the five-star frontal crash test for front occupants, five-star side impact test for front occupants, and four stars for rear occupants.

Honda motors K-series four-cylinder four-stroke engines which appeared in 2001. It is a DOHC engine. Similar to the B series, A series of the two short blocks of the same design. The only difference between them is high. K20 uses a short block with a height of 212 mm and K23 and the K24 block has a height of 231.5 mm.
