Toyota Camry: How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light (2002-2022)

Good day, Toyota fam! How are you today? I’ve already done some car maintenance today on the Toyota Camry with the hybrid synergy drive powertrain from all the stuff I got out here. So now is time to reset the oil maintenance light on this Toyota Camry.
So today, I’m going to do a kind of a rehash of the oil light reset content that I did on this 2018 Toyota Camry. There are a lot of comments in the comments section with questions and things like that, so I’m going to cover all those today and hopefully clear some things up.

How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Toyota Camry
Warning! Please note your vehicle model. This tutorial will hold true for the Toyota Camry 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 model years.
2002-2006 Camry
- First, put your key in the on position
- Then get the dash screen to show ODO by using the ODO/TRIP button
- Once you are done with that, turn the key off
- Next, you’ll need to hold down the ODO/TRIP button and then put your key in the position right before the car get started, so this is a position two
- Keep hold the ODO/TRIP button and you’re going to see the maintenance light will flash and then when the display shows all zeros your maintenance required has been reset
2007-2017 Camry
With Dash Button
Time needed: 3 minutes
Alright, this section is on how to reset the maintenance required light on a 2013 Toyota Camry. So I’m going to teach you guys how to take it off today.
- To get started you’re gonna turn your ignition switch on
Press twice on the START button with your foot off the brake
- Get to the TRIP A
Then in the right-hand corner of your, there’s a little ODO/TRIP button on the dash and you’re going to press it until it says TRIP A
- Turn off the ignition
After that, you’re going to turn the car off
- Hold down the ODO/TRIP button
Now what you’re going to do is put one of your fingers on the ODO/TRIP button and push it down
- Turn on the ignition
As you hold it, you turn the power on by pressing the START button twice with your thumb and making sure your foot is off the brake pedal
- Continue to hold the ODO/TRIP button
Keep holding the ODO/TRIP button so then you’ll see it blinking backward and once it gets to zero and though all the lights flash the maintenance required light has just been reset
With Steering Button
- Fiirst, put on the ignition
- Now I’m gonna be using the ❏ keys on the steering wheel and scrolling over to the SETTINGS
- Then push the center button as an enter
- Next, go down and select the MAINTENANCE RESET
- It’s gonna ask you if you want to reset the data, you’re gonna click YES and you’re done
2018-2022 Camry
In this chapter, I’m gonna walk you through the steps of resetting the maintenance required light on a new generation of Toyota Camry. So let’s get into the car to try to do it.
With 4-inch Display
- Turn the ignition switch to the on position
- Then you have to scroll over to the ⚙️ SETTINGS by using the right or left arrows
- Next, push it down into the VEHICLE SETTINGS and push OK
- Go to the SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE and push OK
- When it asks you for a reset, you’ll go to scroll up to YES and hit OK
With 7-inch Display
- Switch on the ignition
- Then use the ▲or▼ button to start to line up go to the ⚙️ SETTINGS
- Next, we’ll go across to the right to get the VEHICLE SETTINGS
- Once you get there, you need to hold OK to get in the menu
- After that, select SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE
- At this point, it will ask you to reset data? So you select YES and you’re done
