How To Reset VW Passat TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor (2019-2020) – The Volkswagen Passat NMS (New Midsize Sedan) is a high-end four-door sedan manufactured by Volkswagen for the US, Chinese, and South Korean markets since 2011. It is based on the same base plate as the European Passat produced until 2014.

In China, alongside the model, a European Passat is also sold under the name Volkswagen Magotan. In the US market, the engines were initially a five-cylinder 2.5-liter (170 hp) gasoline engine, a 3.6-liter V6 (280 hp), and a 2.0-liter (140 hp) TDI diesel engine.

How To Reset VW Volkswagen Passat TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor (2019-2020)

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your Volkswagen:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop

    Turn the engine switch off

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard

    The tire placard located on the driver’s door panel

  3. Turn the ignition to the ON position

    Don’t start the engine

  4. Press the MENU button

    The button is located on the audio display

  5. Select VEHICLE menu

    Tap the display to select the menu

  6. Tap SETTINGS or SETUP on the touchscreen to enter the Vehicle Settings menu

    The menu is in the lower right corner

  7. Select TIRES

    Tap the touchscreen to select

  8. Select SET

    Tap the touchscreen to select

  9. When a confirmation message appears on the display, select CONFIRM to store the tire pressure

    Done!

  • hello i have it Passat b8 2019 tdi 2.0 150hp and i cant turn off the tire indicator.i go to the car menu then i go to car but does not have the indication set and this button is not inside the car locker either. please help me
