If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your 2016 2017 Toyota CHR, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch to the LOCK position.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

  4. Select SETTING by using the DISP button on the steering wheel

  5. Press and hold the DISP button to enter the adjustment mode.

  6. Press the DISP button briefly until Tire Pressure Warning appears

  7. Press and hold the DISP button to enter the menu

  8. Select SET to confirm, and then press and hold the DISP button again

  9. Wait for a few minutes until initialization is completed.

  10. Finally, turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.

Vehicles With Color Display:

  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch to the LOCK position.
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Press the Arrow button on the steering wheel to select the SETTING menu
  • Select the VEHICLE SETTING and press the Center button
  • Select TIRE PRESSURE SETUP
  • Press and hold the Center button
  • Wait for a few minutes until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times.
  • Finally, turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.
