How To Reset Service/Spanner Light On Mitsubishi Mirage (2013-2021)
Last Updated on June 26, 2021 by Christ
Mitsubishi Mirage is a range of cars produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi from 1978 to 2003 and again from 2012. On this occasion, let me share my experience on how to reset the service minder or spanner light on the Mitsubishi Mirage.
The service indicator will appear when the vehicle has been running for approximately 10,000 kilometers or six months, whichever is reached first until the indicator will light up. The vehicle owner or driver will never forget that the vehicle is time for service with a service reminder.
How To Reset Service/Spanner Light On Mitsubishi Mirage
Time needed: 3 minutes
All right here, we have a 2017 Mitsubishi mirage, and we have done an oil change. This works for late 2013 onwards models, so in this chapter, I will show you how to reset that spanner warning light now.
- So we turn off the ignition
To carry out this procedure the first step is to make sure your vehicle is completely off
- Display the 🔧 Spanner on screen
With the vehicle turned off scroll through the menu until you get to the little spanner by using info button on the instrument cluster
- Hold down the info button
Then you hold the info button until the wrench blinks
- Release and then press the button once again
Now once it’s blinking just press it one more time and it’ll say clear. You’re done!
Note: This procedure applies to the sixth generation of the Mitsubishi Mirage (2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
So that’s how you reset it. When we start the car up, the light should go, and no more maintenance light. I hope you enjoyed this content and hope you found it helpful; if you did, please share it. See you in the next one, thanks for reading!
