How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Toyota Venza (2009-2022)

Hey! How are you doing, guys? Today, we’re going to make a quick content of how to reset the oil maintenance required light on this Toyota Venza.

How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Toyota Venza (2009-2022)

Warning! Please note your vehicle model. This tutorial will hold true for the first and second generations of the Toyota Venza (2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2021 2022 model years).

2009-2015 Toyota Venza

  • Turn the ignition switch to the on position 
  • Then what you want to do is make sure that trip meter is on TRIP A by use the ODO/TRIP button
  • Now at the same time press and hold the ODO/TRIP button and turn your car back on
  • Keep holding it and you’ll see the dashes countdown and then when it stops that means that you just reset the oil life
  • Now you should be able to start your car and the light should be go away 

2021-2022 Toyota Venza

With 4″ Dash Screen

Time needed: 3 minutes

Alright, we’re in a Toyota Venza hybrid, and it’s a pretty simple procedure to reset the oil life on this one or what’s known as the maintenance required light. You’re going to deal with the buttons right here on the steering wheel. So let’s try to do it.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the on position

    Press twice on the POWER button with your foot off the brake

  2. Clear any message

    Then you’re just gonna hit your you’re gonna push the little back arrow until you see the main menu come up 

  3. Get to the ⚙️

    Next, you’re gonna scroll by pushing the right arrow until I get to a ⚙️ gear tab there

  4. Go to the VEHICLE SETTINGS

    After that,scroll down to VEHICLE SETTINGS and click the center button

  5. Get into OIL MAINTENANCE or SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE

    Now I’m gonna hit down until you see the OIL MAINTENANCE or SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE and then click the center button again

  6. Select YES

    It will asked you reset maintenance reminder and then you just click up to YES and push the center button once and it’s all done

With 7″ Dash Screen

  • Switch on the ignition
  • Then we’re going to scroll through by use the down button on here and we are going to go to the ⚙️ SETTINGS
  • Next, we’re going to scroll all the way to the right over to VEHICLE SETTINGS
  • Once you get there, you hold the OK button until it moves to the next screen
  • After that, we’re going to go to SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE or OIL MAINTENANCE and we’re going to press ok
  • At this point we’re going to select YES and it’s going to say reset complete
