How Do I Reset Maintenance Light/Oil Life On Acura ILX (2013-2021)

Good morning everybody! It’s a beautiful day out here. I hope everybody’s being safe got this car no virus dignity. So today, I will be doing an oil life, or maintenance light reset on my 2017 Acura ILX.

How To Reset Maintenance Light/Oil Life On Acura ILX
Time needed: 3 minutes
In this part, I’ll demonstrate how to do an oil reset on an Acura ILX model year 2013 and later. We’re going to use the up and down arrows on the bottom portion of the steering wheel, as well as the Sel/reset button. So let’s get started on this job.
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
First, you’re gonna want to hit the START button twice to make everything turns on
- Get to the VEHICLE SETTINGS or CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS screen
Then we’re gonna use these menu buttons down here to scroll through the menus. We’re gonna scroll up or down to go to the VEHICLE SETTINGS or CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS
- Pull the SEL/RESET button
Once you get all of that we’re just gonna hit the SEL/RESET button
- Find the MAINTENANCE INFO
Next, you’re going to want to scroll through these using your arrow keys until you see MAINTENANCE INFORMATION and we’re going to select that
- Select RESET to execute the oil life reset
From there we’re just going to go up to RESET and select that so you can see oil life hundred percent and we’re good to go
