How To Reset Peugeot 2008 Tyre Pressure Warning Light (2016-2020) – The Peugeot 2008 is a crossover presented by Peugeot at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013, after two show cars at the Beijing salons and Paris last year. The Peugeot 2008 is a small crossover Peugeot derived from the Peugeot 208. It was first presented in the first version at the show in Beijing in late April 2012, under the name Urban Crossover Concept, then another at Paris in the same year, this time as the Peugeot 2008 Concept. It is offered with engines from the Peugeot 208 since its commercial launch on April 26, 2013, and replaces Catalogue Peugeot 207 SW.

Six months after its marketing, European sales of 2008 amounted to more than 60 000 copies, including 25,000 in France, Peugeot sales higher than estimates (the manufacturer was counting on 100,000 annual sales). In fact, the site of Mulhouse had to more than double its production capacity from 300 to almost 700 vehicles per day. The Peugeot 2008 is produced at three sites: in France in Mulhouse, Wuhan in China and Porto Real in Brazil (since March 17, 2015). In the European version, 73% share of the value of the Peugeot 2008 is produced in France1, allowing him to access the label Origine France Garantie.

How To Reset Peugeot 2008 Tyre Pressure Warning Light (2016-2020):

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Peugeot 2008, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

  4. Open glove box, Locate and press the tire pressure warning reset button until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times.

  5. Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position

  6. Finally, turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.

Method 2:

Use this method, if your vehicle is equipped with a Touch screen audio system:

  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the middle pillar, driver’s side.
  • Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position
  • Press the MENU button located on the audio system
  • Tap the Driving menu.
  • In the secondary page, select “Under-inflation initialisation”.
  • Confirm the instruction by pressing “Yes”

  • I carried out a routine tyre pressure check on my 69 plate 2008. All 4 tyres required just a small amount of air, once complete I went to menu/vehicle, initialising tyres chevron, it flashed blue. I seem to recall that previously it flashed green. Am I imagining this ?
