Reset Guide: Hyundai Equus Wrench Service Light (2013-2016) – The Hyundai Equus is a 3-volume sedan bodied passenger car produced by the Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company since 1999 in two distinct generations. It is the flagship model of the Hyundai automotive range.
The second generation of Equus, code-named “VI,” was unveiled at Grand Hyatt Seoul. Unlike the old Equus, the VI has a rear-wheel drive, a longer wheelbase, and a different engine. The VI is based on an entirely new platform, which was entirely developed by Hyundai Motors.

The service light will flash each time you turn on the ignition when your vehicle exceeds the specified service interval. The service interval must be adjusted after performed maintenance on your vehicle. Here is how to reset the service light on 2013 2014 2015 2016 Hyundai Equus:
- Place the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without pressing the brake pedal
- Go to the ⚙️ USER SETTINGS mode by using the navigation button repeatedly
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Find and select SERVICE INTERVAL
Use the navigation switch to scroll and press OK button to enter the menu
- Make sure you activate the service interval function
In this menu you can set a maintenance reminder at a specific interval by adjust the Time or Distance
- Use the navigation switch to change the digit value. Press the OK button to confirm the changes.
