i will try it but i have a 2002 model
Did it work?
I have a 2015 fit does anyone know where the interface plug is?
This worked for me on a RHD UK 05 Jazz. It is important to find the correct plug that isn’t connected to anything. I removed the pop out cover and unscrewed the surround to reveal a small yellow plug with a green and a black wire. NOT the big plug to the left. I popped in the wire to short the green and black wires, turned on the ignition so the panel lights up (2nd click) and within a few seconds the light went out. I removed the wire, light came on again. Inserted the wire again and light went out. Removed the wire and got the double blink. When I restarted the engine, the SRS light went out after 4-5 seconds as normal. Thank you for your video and explanation!
Will this work with a 2015 Honda Fit ? ? ?
I’m trying to do this as well for the Gen 3 fit. Did you ever find this plug? Did it work?
2008 Honda Fit airbag warning light came on and stayed on. Wiring and connector under seat looked ok. Found an article stating that a coin or other foreign object inside the Seat Belt Buckle mechanism can trigger a fault that turns on the warning light. Could not detect any foreign object in buckle. Instead, I sprayed electric contact cleaner into seat buckle and that solved problem. Airbag warning light went off and has stayed off.
Thanks for the good instructions worked for me.
