Hello! What’s up, my friend. Today we’re going to talk about resetting the service minder light on a Mitsubishi L200 after an engine oil change. So it’s something that maybe some of you have done in the past or something that you guys are scared to do out there. So the one thing I want to try to do is to go through and give you the information that you need to reset the service minder light.

This is so important because today, on vehicles, we have service intervals, and we use a monitor on the vehicle’s computer to tell us when to change the oil. We just changed the oil, so it’s super important to make sure to reset it. So let’s do it!

Some people didn’t know how to reset their Mitsubishi L200 for service minder or oil life. So we’re going to show you guys how to do it. All right, let’s get going.

  1. Switch off the ignition completely

    You must do this with ignition off not the ignition on otherwise it won’t work

  2. Show 🔧 spanner on screen

    What you’re actually gonna do is press the ❏ button on the instrument cluster until you get to the spanner symbol

  3. Hold down the ❏ button

    At this point press and hold the ❏ button until the spanner blinks

  4. Release and then press the button again

    Now press the menu button again until it Clear

Note! This procedure applies to the fifth generation of the Mitsubishi L200 (2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
