With Gas Pedal
The easiest way to reset the oil light on the Jeep is by depressing the GAS pedal three times within 10 seconds after turning on the ignition without starting the engine.
With Cluster Display
Time needed: 7 minutes
You can also reset the oil light through the instrument cluster by using the steering control button. Here’s how to do it:
- Place the ignition to the RUN position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without pressing the brake pedal
- Go to the VEHICLE INFO by using the ▼navigation button
The button is located on the steering wheel
- Scroll to the OIL LIFE menu
Use the ◄ ►navigation button to scroll
- Press and hold the OK button to execute the oil life reset
