I have done the reset before...
I sometimes forget, and set a 15+ lb box for fedex in the pass. seat, w/o a seatbelt ! and this happens.

Easy trick -- if to do if you can get the yellow plug out of the grey panel.
Mine will not come out. I don't see any tab or lever that releases it. Hesitant to use pliers.
What's the trick?
There is a tab on the top of the plug. Push it down while you pull it out and it should come out no problem.
