How To Reset Honda CR-V TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2015-2020) – On October 13, 2016, local time, the fifth-generation model for North America was announced prior to the release of this winter. In addition to the 2.4 L direct injection i-VTEC engine adopted for the 2015 model of the 4th generation, the engine is set to a grade of 1.5L direct-injection turbo engine which becomes the first CR-V with the highest output of 190 horsepower.

The appearance is a wing shape of the LED positioning light, the fender protrudes wide, and the front around is made a sharp and powerful design. To improve the forward visibility, the front pillar was made thinner than the 4th generation, and the aluminium wheel (17 inches or 18 inches by grade) was set for all grades.

How To Reset Honda CR-V TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2015-2020):

Time needed: 7 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To turn off the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor light on your 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Honda CR-V, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop, the shift lever is in N (for manual transmission) or the shift lever is in P (for Automatic transmission/CVT models)

  2. Turn the engine switch off

  3. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  4. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  5. Press the HOME button (located on the audio screen) to enter the Vehicle Menu screen.

  6. Select Settings

  7. Select Vehicle

  8. Select TPMS Calibration

  9. Select Calibrate and wait until the calibration process finishes

In different models, TPMS can also be reset by the following methods::

  • Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop, the shift lever is in N (for manual transmission) or the shift lever is in P (for Automatic transmission/CVT models)
  • Turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position
  • Locate and press the TPMS button until the low tire pressure or TPMS indicator blinks twice.

Note: Calibration will complete after 30 minutes of cumulative driving at 30 to 60 mph. This tutorial is based on the Honda owner’s manual.
