Citroën Berlingo: How To Reset Wrench Service Light (2008-2021) – The Berlingo is a multi-space car produced by the French company Citroën since 1996. In April 2008, the second series of the Berlingo was launched.

With the arrival of the second generation of the Berlingo, an electric-powered variant was also revived. This variant mounts a 67 HP electric motor capable of immediately delivering a torque of 200 Nm with flat and continuous delivery (as is standard in electric motors).

Citroën Berlingo: How To Reset Wrench Service Light (2008-2021)

When the wrench or spanner indicator appears and flashes in the display, it’s time for regular service at the workshop. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the maintenance light on Citroën Berlingo:

2nd Generation (2008-2017)

Time needed: 3 minutes

In this second generation (2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017), you can reset the service interval using the Trip button in the cluster. Follow these step:

  1. Place the ignition to the off position

    Make sure your vehicle is stopped in a safe place

  2. Press and hold the TRIP button

    The button is located on the cluster

  3. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine

    The screen will start the countdown

  4. Keep press the TRIP button until the countdown is complete

    Release the button when the display shows “=0”

  5. Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

    Done!

3rd Generation (2018-2021)

Just like the previous generation, in this generation (2018 2019 2020 2021) you can reset the service interval using the buttons in the cluster:

  • Place the ignition to the off position
  • Press and hold the 🔧 SET or SET 000 button
  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • The screen will start the countdown
  • Keep press the 🔧 SET or SET 000 button until the countdown is complete
  • Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

This procedure should apply to the second and third generations of the Citroën Berlingo (2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
