2015-2020 Chevy Tahoe TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light Reset – The Tahoe is a Sports Utility Vehicle produced in the United States of America by General Motors and marketed under the Chevrolet brand since 1995; in 2015 the fourth generation was presented. It is also sold under the GMC brand as GMC Yukon. In the old models, it was also available as a pick-up with 2 doors and with the writing Tahoe colored with the American flag.

Until 2006, the Tahoe was officially imported into Europe via the official Cadillac-Chevrolet dealer network. Later, in the old continent, it remained in the list only in the Russian Federation where it is still present. In the most recent versions it is equipped with a 5300 cm³ displacement engine; the one with petrol and four-wheel drive is capable of delivering 355 HP of power or 261 KW; the gearbox is 6-speed automatic.

2015-2020 Chevy Tahoe TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light Reset:

If you receive a low-tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light while driving and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Chevy Tahoe, follow these instructions:

  • Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
  • Turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 2 minutes of cumulative driving at 20 mph (32 km/h).

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 Chevy Tahoe you must have a TPMS relearn tool and follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by pressing and holding ENGINE START/STOP for more than five seconds without depressing the brake pedal.

  3. If your vehicle has a base level DIC:

    Press MENU on the turn signal lever until the VEHICLE menu is displayed
    Use the thumbwheel to scroll to the Tire Pressure Menu
    Press the SET/CLR button to begin the sensor matching process.
    Press the SET/CLR button again to confirm
    The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode

  4. If the vehicle has an uplevel DIC:

    Use the DIC controls on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll to the Tire Pressure Menu
    Press the button to begin the sensor matching process.
    Press the button again to confirm
    The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode

  5. Starting from the driver’s side front tire, place the relearn tool against the tire sidewall, near the valve stem. Then press the button to activate the TPMS sensor.

  6. Repeat the procedure on the right-front tire, the right rear tire, and the last one left rear tire.

  7. A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.

  8. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
