2007-2019 Chevy Silverado Change Fuel Filter Light Reset – The Silverado is a full-size pickup truck manufactured by Chevrolet since 1998. The model is derived from the GMC Sierra, which is on the market since 1975. The two models are virtually identical, except for the interior. The Sierra is indeed more luxurious. The Silverado occupies the highest position in the pick-up range offered by General Motors. Only the Mexican market, the model is marketed as Chevrolet Cheyenne.
The name C / K was still used until 1999, for both the Silverado for the Sierra; the “C” (or “R” in 1987) indicated the rear-wheel-drive models, while the “K” (or “V” in 1987) was associated with the wheel drive models. The designation R / V continued to be used in the period 1988-91 to distinguish models based on the old platform, which were still in production along with the C / K models based on the T400 platform. Both the Chevrolet GMC stopped using the name C/K in 1999.

If you receive a Change Fuel Filter warning light and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 Chevy Silverado, follow these instructions:
- Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.
- Completely press the brake and the accelerator pedals simultaneously and hold until Fuel Filter Reset message appears
- The system is now reset.
- Turn the ignition key off and start the engine to verify it has been reset
