2006-2011 Chevy Impala TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light Reset – The Impala is a car produced by the American automaker Chevrolet since 1958; it was not on the market between 1985 and 1994 and between 1996 and 2000. In the period in which the full-size cars, that is those with particularly high encumbrances, dominated the US market, the Impala was the best-selling car.

2006-2011 Chevy Impala TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light Reset:

Time needed: 17 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 Chevy Impala, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  3. Press and hold unlock and lock buttons on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter until horn sounds

  4. If your vehicle does not have the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter:

    Press the INFO button until the LEARN TIRE POSITIONS message
    displays
    Press the SET/CLR button
    The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode

  5. Increase/ decrease tire pressure for 10 seconds, starting from the driver’s side front tire (LF) until horn sounds.

  6. After horn sounds, proceed to the right (passenger’s side) front tire, and repeat the procedure in step 3.

  7. Next, proceed as in step 3 for the right (passenger’s side) rear tire and then left (driver’s side) rear tire.

  8. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the left rear tire, turn the ignition to the OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on the tire placard.

  1. I have reset my tpms as per these instructions and now instead of displaying the inflated psi it just shows two bars _ _ .
    I repeated the process and got the same results .

  2. Do u have to have the car on the ground does it matter i cant get past the first tire for resetting it
