Audi Q7: How To Reset Service Due Light After Oil Change (2010-2021) – The Audi Q7 is an SUV produced by the German car manufacturer Audi, derived from the Pikes Peak Quattro Concept prototype presented to the public in 2003. The second series has been in production since 2015.

The Q7 is 5.09 meters long, almost 2 meters wide, and its cockpit can accommodate seven passengers. The engines are of the latest generation: among the petrol ones, there are the 280 hp 3.6 FSI V6 and the 350 hp 4.2 FSI V8 (available from 2006 to 2010) and the 270 hp 333 hp 3.0 V6 TFSI (from 2010).

The inspection or service reminder message will appears in the display after driving a certain distance. You need perform an oil change and reset the system interval. Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the service light on Audi Q7:

1st Generation (2010-2015)

Time needed: 7 minutes

In this first generation (2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015), you can access service intervals via a multimedia display to reset oil change. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START STOP button without pressing the brake pedal

  2. Press the CAR button

    The button is located on the center console

  3. Select CAR SYSTEM or SYSTEM menu

    Press the control button to select the menu

  4. Select SERVICE & CHECKS

    You can skip this step if the menu is not on the screen

  5. Select SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY

    The remaining service interval will appears on the screen

  6. Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL

    A confirmation display will appears on the display

  7. Select YES to execute the service interval reset

    Done!

2nd Generation (2016-2021)

Just like the previous generation, you can reset the service interval via multimedia display (MMI) in this fifth generation (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021). Here’s how to get started:

With Infotainment Display

  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press the MENU button on the centre console
  • Select VEHICLE or CAR by using the dial control
  • Press the left control button
  • Select SERVICE & CHECKS
  • Select SERVICE INTERVAL
  • Select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
  • Select YES to execute the service interval reset

With Touchscreen

  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • From the main menu tap the VEHICLE or CAR menu on the touchscreen
  • Select SETTINGS & SERVICE
  • Select SERVICE INTERVAL
  • Select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
  • Select YES to execute the service interval reset
