Pontiac G8 TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Warning Reset (2008-2009) – The G8 was a full-size car produced by the Pontiac brand from 2007 to 2009. I'm working on a friends 08 G8. It had a bad LR wheel bearing and was throwing the abs code, c0045, LR wheel speed sensor. After pulling the wheel I noticed how loose the bearing was and replaced it. After replacing the wheel speed sensor it just threw the code again. I noticed that the tire pressure read low for that wheel so I filled it up but it still says to check it.
The traction control system isn't working, obviously, because it thinks that wheel is either spinning or skidding. Is there any coloration between that incorrect reading of the tire pressure and the traction control/abs system/wheel speed sensor? I've never run into this situation before. The wiring to the sensor looks perfect, the sensor it new and the bearing is new but I still have no traction control. I don't know where to turn next.
