How To Reset Buick LaCrosse TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2008-2011) – The Buick LaCrosse is sold since 2004 under the American automobile brand Buick in North America four-door sedan with front-wheel drive. It replaces the previous Buick Century and Regal models. In Canada, the model in the first generation under the name Buick Allure was offered.

With the model change to the second generation, the model is also sold in Canada as Buick LaCrosse. GM justified this by saying that in Quebec the term Lacrosse is also accepted with regard to the same sport and the model could be marketed better under a single name. 

How To Reset Buick LaCrosse TPMS Low Tire Pressure Light (2008-2011):

Time needed: 17 minutes

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. To relearn turning off or reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your Buick LaCrosse, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine.

  3. Press and hold unlock and lock buttons on the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter until horn sounds

  4. Increase/ decrease tire pressure for 10 seconds, starting from the driver’s side front tire (LF) until horn sounds.

  5. After horn sounds, proceed to the right (passenger’s side) front tire, and repeat the procedure in step 3.

  6. Next, proceed as in step 3 for the right (passenger’s side) rear tire and then left (driver’s side) rear tire.

  7. After hearing the confirming horn chirp for the left rear tire, turn the ignition to the OFF position. Adjust all tires to pressure listed on the tire placard.

    • There is ANOTHER way, via a you tube video without a $1,500.00 tool.
      ☻ Put the car in 'learning mode' the left parking light goes on.
      ☻ release air from the LEFT front tire slowly until the horn beeps.
      ☻ the right front light goes on.
      ☻ release air from the right front.
      ☻ repeat, repeat, Then add air to the 4 tires mfg. specs.
