How To Reset Service Light on Kia Telluride After Oil Change (2020-2021) – The Kia Telluride is a passenger car produced by the Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors starting in 2019. This high-end SUV built in West Point in Georgia and sold in the USA is equipped with 7 or 8 seats.

Designed by Tom Kearns, it is built on the same chassis as the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Palisade. Mechanically it presents a scheme with an engine and front-wheel drive, with the possibility of having a four-wheel drive. The engine is a 3.8 liter naturally aspirated V6 mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The service light will flash each time you turn on the ignition when your vehicle exceeds the specified service interval. The service interval must be adjusted after performed maintenance on your vehicle. Here is how to reset the service light on 2020 2021 Kia Telluride:

  1. Place the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START/STOP button twice without pressing the brake pedal

  2. Go to the ⚙️ USER SETTINGS mode by pressing the ❐ MODE button repeatedly

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  3. Find and select SERVICE INTERVAL

    Use the navigation switch to scroll and press OK button to enter the menu

  4. Make sure you activate the service interval function by giving a check mark

    In this menu you can set a maintenance reminder at a specific interval by adjust the Time or Distance

  5. Use the navigation switch to change the digit value. Press the OK button to confirm the changes.

    Done!

  • This doesn't work if your Service Interval is OFF or not activated. So far, I haven't found out how to activate it and some people have not had luck with their dealer.
