Reset Guide: Audi TT Oil Change Service Due Light (2007-2021) – The TT is a sports car produced by the German car manufacturer Audi since 1998. Audi revealed the third-generation TT at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

This model uses the Volkswagen Group’s modular platform called MQB and is available with TFSI petrol and TDI diesel engines. The entry engine is a 180 hp 1.8. The 2.0 TFSI is available in two versions: one version that produces 230hp and 370Nm of torque and another enhanced in the TTS version with 310hp and 380Nm of torque.

The inspection or service reminder message will appears in the display after driving a certain distance. You need perform an oil change and reset the system interval. Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the service light on Audi TT:

2nd Generation (2007-2014)

Time needed: 7 minutes

In the 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 Audi TT model years, you can reset the service interval through the cluster display. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Place the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has the keyless starting system, press the ENGINE START/STOP button without pressing the brake pedal

  2. Pull the knob once to enter the reset mode

    The button is located on the instrument cluster

  3. Pull and hold the knob until —- appears on the screen

    Pull up the knob for several seconds

  4. Verify the indicator has been reset by starting the engine

    Done!

3rd Generation (2015-2021)

Unlike the previous generation, you can reset the service interval via multimedia display (MMI) in this third generation (2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021). Here’s how to get started:

  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press the MENU button on the centre console
  • Select VEHICLE or CAR by using the dial control
  • Press the left control button
  • Select SERVICE & CHECKS
  • Select SERVICE INTERVAL
  • Select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
  • Select YES to execute the service interval reset

This procedure should apply to the second and third generations of the Audi TT (2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
