Lincoln MKZ Inertia Switch Fuel Pump Cut-Off Location – In 2007, just a year after its launch, the Zephyr was renamed MKZ. This strategy was dictated by the need to provide its models with a name similar to that of Cadillacs and that of contemporary German cars.
The 2007 MKZ was introduced at the Chicago Motor Show in February 2006. The model presented many novelties. In addition to the aesthetic changes and the equipment, the MKZ was equipped with a new 3.5L Duratec twin-shaft V6 engine that delivered 265 hp at 6,250 rpm and 337 Nm at 4500 pm.
