2016-2020 Lexus GS TPMS Light Tire Pressure Sensor Reset (300 350) – The Lexus GS is a medium-high class 3-volume sedan presented by Japanese automaker Lexus is 1991 and now in its fourth generation. From 2011 in Italy it is proposed in a hybrid version (petrol engine + electric motor) of 2494 cm³ of 223 hp on 300h and 450h.

From 2017 it also returns with the 4969 cm³ petrol engine with 477 hp on the F version. The GS update began at Monterey Car Week in August 2015. The changes include a GS 200t variant equipped with the 2.0-liter 8AR-FTS turbocharged engine to replace the GS 250 and an upgrade to the 3.5-liter V6, now updated to the 2GR-FKS specification which uses the Atkinson cycle and features based on the previous 2GR-FSE engine.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor, etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor needs to be reset. Follow these steps to reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor on your Lexus GS:

  1. Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.

  2. Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.

  3. Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position

  4. Press “<” or “>” button briefly until the appears on the display

  5. Then scroll down to select the VEHICLE SETTINGS and then press the “center button”.

  6. Scroll down and select TPMS and hold “OK” until the tire pressure warning light starts blinking.

  7. Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position

  8. Driving for a few miles (kilometers), calibration will complete after 10-30 minutes of cumulative driving at least 40 km/h (25 mph), and then verify that it turns off.
