2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Timing Marks Diagram (2.4 L Engine) – The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a car model from the American manufacturer Chrysler, which was built by the middle of 2000 until the summer of 2010. The acronym PT stands for “Personal Transportation”. It was designed from the Designer Bryan Nesbitt as an interpretation of the Chrysler Airflow with Dodge Neon elements, but on its own platform (PT) constructed. The car has front-wheel drive and is approved for five people. In spring 2004, the four-seater Chrysler PT Cruiser Cabriolet followed with a fabric top.

The PT Cruiser was conducted in 2001 on the car and driver’s leaderboard among the top ten and won the same year the North-American car-of-the-Year Award. In Euro NCAP crash test of the Chrysler PT Cruiser reached 3 of 5 stars for occupant safety and 1 of 5 in pedestrian safety. The car was built until the 9th of July 2010 at the Toluca plant (Mexico). In addition, equipped with diesel engines were mounted units from July 2001 to July 2002 in the first exclusively in the Austrian Euro Star Automobile Plant.

Note: When aligning crankshaft and camshaft timing marks always rotate engine from the crankshaft. Camshaft should not be rotated after the timing belt is removed. Damage to valve components may occur. Always align timing marks before removing the timing belt.
