When the system has calculated that oil life has exceeded the specified service interval, a CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message will come on. You must perform an oil change on your vehicle and reset the system. The first generation of Cadillac SRX was marketed from 2004 to 2009. There are two ways to reset oil life in this generation, namely through the DIC button and audio display. Choose one of the following methods according to your vehicle specifications:

I tried to reset using the guide, with gas pedal but didn’t work. Is there a way to remove “dismiss” which appears in left bottom of the screen so I can start over? Please advise.
